The Anteaters competed at the end of March in Long Beach in the South Designate Regatta. Saturday was a beautiful day in SoCal with temperatures in the 80s and consistent breeze; a perfect day for sailing. The courses consisted of single and double leeward windward legs. On Sunday temperatures dropped to a frigid 72 degrees by SoCal standards.
The Anteaters struggled to maintain advantage and pulled off a respectable effort. Sam Heller and Nicholas Weis skippered A division with their crew Daniel Diaz. In B Division Freshman Brian MacLean skippered with crew Philip Tagatac. Thank you to USC for hosting this regatta.
