The 2008 UCI Alumni Regatta was a big success

For those of you that did not make it this year you missed out.  Eight CFJ's on the line, 4 shields and several Alums rotating in all day, it was sunny warm and perfect conditions.   Nick Scandone '90 cleaned up in the shields fleet, posting a 1,1,1,2,2,1,1; the 80's team of Steve Washburn, Hank O'Brien and Tom Burton came in second (Hank and Tom flew in from Minnesota for this so the rest of you have no excuse).  In the CFJ fleet competition was tough, with around 14 skippers rotating around the 8 boat fleet and a mandatory crew switch after lunch it was a true test of skill.  Geoff Becker won the day sailing the first half with Sarah Robertson-Hill and the second half with current team member Rex Cameron (Geoff and Sarah both flew in for the event and plan on doing so next year).  Second was Jon Boyd and third was Mark Gaudio.
